How to play BonoLoto

Bono Loto is a 6/49 game. In order to win the jackpot, you need to match 6 numbers with those drawn from the set of 49 balls. A seventh ball is drawn and used for the Bonus Ball to increase the second division prize.

Bono Loto games are held four times per week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

BonoLoto Winners

1990. A single Bono Loto ticket won over 7 million (EUR).

April 2004. Members of a cartel from Merida each win 34 thousand (EUR) after a second prize win on the Bonoloto draw. The total lotto prize payout in this draw was 3,217,858 (EUR).

November 2006. Jackpot prize of 1.2 million (EUR) was paid to a ticket holder from Caleta de Salobrena.

July 2007. The town of Gandia in Spain's Costa Blanca was the luckiest place to be with FORTY tickets winning large lottery prizes. One year early, the same shop sold another BonoLoto jackpot winning ticket which was worth 1.1 million (EUR).

Feb 2008. A ticket holder from La Herradura won more than 1.2 million (EUR). The person's name remains a mystery, but not a bad return for an investment of 2 (EUR)!

Dec 2008. One lucky resident of Guardamar del Segura wins 214,746 (EUR) on BonoLoto.

Aug 2010. Lots of BonoLotto winners this month, five lucky winners share the jackpot of 2.5 million (EUR), four ticket holders in Malaga, Fuengirola, Jerez de la Frontera and Puerto Santa Maria win 620,000 (EUR) each and one person in Huelva won a 59.6 thousand Euro prize.


History

Bono Loto was first drawn in February 1988 and has remained the cornerstone of the Loteria Nacional ever since.

In 1991, the refund was introduced whereby if a player matched only the bonus ball number, the price of the ticket was refunded.
